About Local Boutique

Virtual Real Estate (VRE-USA), our parent company, develops websites to promote local businesses of many varieties. Because the Internet is a business of questions and answers, we look for terms with organic high volume searches that lack meaningful answers. For example, the search term "Dress" receives 55,600,000 new searches a month, but even more interestingly, "Dress" garners more searches than the related terms: fashion, designer, and boutique. With that in mind, we have created a division of VRE-USA titled “Local Boutiques,” which specifically targets geographically relevant domains for individual cities combined with the search term “Dress.com.” On these 'Geo-Dress domains, we exclusively feature locally-owned boutiques, because they offer that unique shopping experience not found on-line or in the "big box stores."

We are interested in the unique Boutique that offers their customers fabulous assistance, whether they are just window-shopping or are in dire need of a complete fashion overhaul. We are confident that the boutiques featured on our “Dress Sites” know their customers and go out of their way to assist all of their fashion needs. Can you say that about the mall or on-line?

A "Featured Listing" includes a write up about the business, including exclusive labels, unique services, hours of operation, Google map, link to web page or blog, and a flash-bar of the season’s current “look.” We also include two or more still shots of the Boutique in the body of the text. We ask that the images used for fashion shots be provided by the label or showroom with their permission, and we ask that the pictures not have any advertising on them. The images need to be minimum of 400 by 600 pixels, either portrait or landscape. We have received lovely responses from the labels/showrooms thus far regarding the flash-bar.
